| I was so excited to see that KA had a new series coming that as soon as it arrived on my kindle I just dove right in! Still Standing gave me a mix of Motorcycle Man & Rock Chick Regret vibes. Those are two of my favorites and I was pumped that she was writing a book that seemed different from her others. The story sucked me and I didn’t want to put it down. While I did love the story itself I had some problems with Buck. He is the typical KA alpha, but there’s one scene where my love for him just withered. It took me a little bit to warm up to Clara too, although she did grow on me. Overall it was a great book and I’m very much looking forward to more of this series. |
